This is the second video in the AI After 50 series, and it answers the question I hear most from people my age: how do I learn this without going back to school?
The short answer is that you have less to learn than you think, and the amount keeps shrinking.
I started from zero a little over three years ago, after thirty years in corporate sales. In 2023 it was easy. Then for about a year it got steep. Then it collapsed into one window, where you say what you want in plain words and read what comes back.
AARP’s research this year says about half of workers over 50 want AI training, and twelve percent have taken any. The class is not coming. You do not need it.
